Sodatide Privacy Policy: What This Website Collects and How to Control It
Quick answerThis site collects very little. It keeps standard server logs and the emails you send us. Its own code sets no cookies and runs no ad trackers. Orders and card payments happen on a separate checkout run by the BuyGoods order desk, so we never see your card. Privacy questions go to the website inbox in the footer. Effective September 30, 2026.
Who runs this website and what does this policy cover?
This policy covers sodatidewellness.com, a product information website run by Sodatide U.S. shop. We are an authorized Sodatide retailer, not the manufacturer. Our office is at 550 Madison Avenue, Floor 27, New York, NY 10022.
The policy covers only this website. It does not cover the checkout page, the order desk or any site we link to. Those have their own privacy policies, and we explain where each one starts below.
We wrote this page in plain English on purpose. If a line is unclear, email the website inbox and we will explain it.
What personal data does this website collect?
Two things: basic server logs and any email you choose to send. Everything else in this table happens elsewhere or not at all.
| Data type | What it includes | How we get it | Why we use it | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Server logs | IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time, referring page | Recorded automatically by our web host when a page loads | Keep the site running, stop abuse, fix errors | Only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or overwritten |
| Emails you send | Your name, email address and whatever you choose to write | When you write to the website inbox | Answer you and keep a record of the conversation | Until your question is closed and the record is no longer needed, or sooner if you ask |
| Order details | Name, address, email, phone, items bought | Not collected by this site | Held by the BuyGoods order desk to fill your order | Set by the checkout provider's own policy |
| Payment card data | Card number, expiry date, security code | Not collected by this site | Handled by the checkout provider only | Set by the checkout provider's own policy |
| Cookies and trackers | None set by this site's own code | Not collected by this site | Not used | Not applicable |
What this website never collects
The site is built to need almost nothing from you. These four gaps are deliberate.
No card data
Payment happens on the checkout. Your card number never touches this site.
No accounts
There is no sign-up, login or password on this site.
No web forms
We have no contact forms or newsletter boxes. You reach us by email or phone.
No ad tracking
No analytics scripts, ad pixels or social tracking widgets run in our pages.
How do orders and payments work, and whose policy applies?
Orders and payments are handled by the checkout, not by this site. The where-to-buy page explains the buying route in more detail.
You click a buy button
The button opens a short redirect page on this site. It passes no personal data, only sends your browser on.
You land on the checkout
The checkout is run by a third party. The BuyGoods order desk handles orders, payment, shipping and refunds.
You enter your details there
Your name, address and card are typed into the checkout, under the checkout's privacy policy and terms.
The order desk contacts you
Your confirmation and tracking emails come from the order desk. For changes, call the order desk.
How we use and share the data we have
We use the little data we have for three things. We keep the site online and safe. We answer your emails. We meet our legal duties.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, which is the legal term for targeted ads. We do not use it to build profiles or make automated decisions about you.
We share data only in a few cases. Our web host and email provider process it for us under their service terms. We may also disclose it if a valid law, court order or government request requires it, or to protect people from fraud or harm.
What rights do US state privacy laws give you?
Several US states give residents rights over their personal information. California does this through the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and a growing list of other states have similar laws.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
- Access a copy of it.
- Correct it if it is wrong.
- Delete it, with some legal exceptions.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of it. We do not sell or share, so there is nothing to opt out of.
- Appeal if we turn down a request.
We give these rights to every visitor, wherever you live. We will not treat you differently for using them.
Email your request
Write to the website inbox with the subject “Privacy request” and say what you want us to do.
We confirm it is you
We may ask you to reply from the same email address you used before. We only ask for what we need to verify you.
We act on it
We answer within the time your state's law allows. For California, that is 45 days, which can be extended once when the law permits.
You can appeal
If you disagree with our answer, reply with “Appeal.” We will review the request again and explain our decision in writing.
An authorized agent can make a request for you. We will ask for proof that you gave them permission.
Children's privacy
This website is not meant for children. Sodatide is a supplement for adults 18 and over, and its label tells anyone under 18 to see a physician first.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent believes a child has emailed us, write to the website inbox. We will delete the message.
How is your data kept secure?
We protect data by keeping very little of it. The site is a set of static pages with no customer database, no logins and no stored payments. Pages load over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
Access to our inbox is limited to the staff who answer it. Even so, no website or email system is perfectly secure. Please do not send card numbers or health records by email.
When does this policy change?
We may update this policy when the law or our site changes. The new version will show a new effective date at the top of this section. This version is effective September 30, 2026.
If a change affects how we use data you already gave us, we will say so clearly on this page. Related rules for using the site are in our terms and conditions and our disclaimer.
