What does "Daily Value not established" mean?
It means there is no official daily target for that ingredient. The FDA sets Daily Values for nutrients like vitamin C, iron and total fiber. It has not set one for inulin, resistant starch or any probiotic.
On the label this shows as a small dagger (†) next to each amount. The dagger then points to a footnote at the bottom of the panel. You will see the same symbol on almost every herbal or probiotic product.
So the panel cannot tell you what percent of a daily need one capsule meets. For context, the Dietary Guidelines suggest roughly 22 to 34 grams of total fiber a day for adults. One Sodatide capsule gives 0.31 grams.
Why are the amounts shown in milligrams?
Milligrams suit a small capsule. One gram equals 1,000 milligrams. So 211 mg of inulin is 0.211 grams, and 100 mg of resistant starch is 0.1 grams.
Add the three actives and you get 347 mg per capsule. A standard capsule holds well under one gram of powder, and the helpers take up some of that room. That is the practical ceiling on how much fiber any single capsule can carry.
Probiotics are different. Their weight in milligrams says how much powder is in the capsule. It does not say how many bacteria that powder holds.
How should you read the Suggested Use and storage lines?
The Suggested Use line is simple: one capsule daily with an 8 oz. glass of water. The brand's own directions add that morning, before a meal, is the preferred time.
The storage line asks for a cool, dry place away from heat, light and humidity. Refrigeration for optimal quality is on the label too. Refrigeration is common advice for products that carry probiotic bacteria.
Step-by-step directions, travel tips and a missed-dose plan are on how to take Sodatide. Our post on storing probiotic capsules explains the fridge advice.
What do the caution and warning lines ask of you?
The caution line has three parts. Do not take more than the stated dose. If you are pregnant or nursing, under 18, or have a known medical condition, talk to a physician first. The warning line in capitals adds two more: keep the bottle away from children, and do not use it if the safety seal is damaged or missing.
These lines are standard on dietary supplements. They are still worth reading every time. A fuller safety guide is on Sodatide side effects.
Who makes and distributes Sodatide?
The distributor on the label is Instituto Experience, Lakeland, FL 33804. Its label phone is a phone number. A distributor brings the product to market; it may not be the factory that fills the capsules.
The label also reads "Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients." That means the capsules are made in the US, while some raw materials are bought abroad. Lot and best-before details, when shown, sit on the base of the bottle. You can check a lot on the batch verify page.
This website is run by Sodatide U.S. shop, an authorized retailer. We are not the maker or the distributor.
What does the asterisk on the front claims mean?
The front of the bottle carries three claims, each with an asterisk: "Metabolic & Digestive Support," "Supports Appetite Control And Satiety" and "Promotes Energy Production From Fats." The asterisk leads to the standard FDA statement.
That statement says the claims have not been evaluated by the FDA. It also says the product is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. The FDA never approves dietary supplements before they go on sale (FDA, Q&A on Dietary Supplements). What each claim rests on is covered on Sodatide benefits.
What is not on the label?
Three details that probiotic buyers often look for are missing. We list them so you know what you are and are not told.
- CFU count. The blend is listed as 36 mg. No colony-forming units are given, for the blend or for each species.
- Strain codes. Each species is named, but no strain code follows it. Research results are usually tied to one strain.
- Live or pasteurized. The label does not say whether the Akkermansia is live or heat-treated. The key human trial used a pasteurized form.
Why these gaps matter
Probiotic benefits are mostly strain-specific, and about 1 billion CFU per serving is a common minimum for general claims (Hill et al., 2014). Without a CFU number, nobody can compare Sodatide with that yardstick. We will update this page if the brand publishes the figures.
How do you read any probiotic label?
The same five checks work on any probiotic or synbiotic product. Use them in the store or on a product page.
Find the serving size
Check how many capsules make one serving. Every number below it depends on that line.
Look for a CFU number
A strong probiotic label gives colony-forming units, often in billions, and says whether the count is at manufacture or at expiry.
Look for strain codes
Letters and numbers after the species name, such as 35624, name the exact strain. Research is tied to strains.
Check live or inactivated
Some bacteria are sold live, others heat-treated. The label should say which one you are buying.
Read storage and dates
Probiotics can lose strength with heat and time. Storage advice and a best-before date matter more than for most supplements.
Our guide to choosing a gut health supplement puts these checks into a longer buying list.
Sodatide Supplement Facts FAQ
What is the serving size of Sodatide?
One capsule. At one capsule a day, the 30 servings in a bottle last a month.

No. The label gives the probiotic blend as 36 mg total. It does not list colony-forming units for the blend or for each species.
